  22. I am a Chisti Sufi of Order of the West, and my understanding is that Sufis 
  23. do not and never have had any tie to Islam or any other religion, be it 
  24. Christian, Moslem, Jewish, Hindu, or Buddhist.

  26. Sufis likely were the first of gnosis, and they go back 50,000 years and 
  27. more to the beginnings of homo sapiens, conscious mind in humans. None of 
  28. this can be proven, of course.
